Martigues in Cassis, discover the beaches of Bouches-du-Rhône
By booking a rental by the sea, you are guaranteed to be close to the beach. For those seeking relaxation, pay a visit to the Prophet Beach in Marseille. This laid back spot is popular among families. In Martigues, at the Arnettes surf spot in Carro, sportier visitors can try their hand at surfing or windsurfing. At lunchtime, eat in one of the restaurants in the Old Port of La Ciotat and enjoy a wonderful view of the Provencal jousting tournaments. Further east, take a walk along the port of Cassis, and set off to explore the magnificent landscapes of the creeks of Port-Miou.
A day at sea to explore the area surrounding Marseille
Departing from the Old Port of Marseille, take a day trip on board a boat to discover the Frioul Islands. It is an essential trip when staying in Marseille. On the island of Ratonneau, explore the Caroline Hospital and the island's coves. Located further east, Frioul island is the closest to Marseille. Made famous by Alexandre Dumas, through the character of the Count of Monte Cristo, the Château d'If is an exceptional place.
