The Résidence Les Rives de Saint Brice in Ares. ARES is a small seaside resort on the Arcachon basin that lives according to the cycle of the tides. The town of Arès has a diverse surrounding countryside, where nature rules supreme, and is just 48km from Bordeaux, 47km from Arcachon, and 7km from the Atlantic Ocean. From your rental property on the Arcachon Basin: explore the Prés-Salés Nature Reserve, the Conche de Saint-Brice, or the coastal footpath, where beautiful countryside accompanies walkers right into the neighbouring town of Andernos. The oyster port also enjoys an exceptional setting, and a walk on the seawall will allow you to marvel at the view of the northern point of the Arcachon Basin.
Discover
This house rental in the Arcachon Basin is a great base for numerous excursions to the surrounding Bordeaux wine country, the city of Bordeaux, Les Landes, the Dune du Pilat, the Ile aux Oiseaux, and the Ornithological Park in Teich. . . The biggest delight for swimming enthusiasts within the Basin is the town of Arès, where a number of glistening beaches await. High tide is the perfect time for swimming, lazing on the beach, or taking part in a number of water sports available: sailing, windsurfing, catamarans. . . When the tide goes back out, enjoy walking along the beach, collecting shell fish (cockles and clams), and exploring the local wildlife.
