Samoëns, a well-preserved village at the foot of Mont Blanc

The village of Samöens enjoys a prime location and an exceptional panorama in the French Alps. Formerly occupied by stonecutters, the vestiges of this period still remain and give charm to this village which offers you a complete change of scenery. Once night falls, it is very pleasant to walk among the stone houses while taking in the comforting aromas of tartiflette and other cheese specialities.

Activities in Samoëns

The distinctive feature of the Samoëns ski area is that the majority of its slopes are classified as a nature reserve. This wilderness environment is therefore conducive to snowshoeing and many varieties of skiing, such as slaloming through the fir trees and slinking through narrow gulleys. Fans of this discipline will also benefit from the Grand Massif domain and its 165 miles of trails. The latter is accessible via the gondola, so take advantage of the 8-minute ride to admire the snow-covered mountains. To enjoy the landscape even more, opt for dog-sled rides or take the hiking trails.

A comfortable holiday in the Residence Le Grand Tétras

The residence consists of 7 wooden and stone chalets to preserve the authenticity of the estate. Its 3-star rating guarantees you a comfortable stay. Indeed, all the accommodation is fully equipped and many services are at your disposal. You will particularly appreciate the heated swimming pool and the sauna after a good day out on the slopes.
