At an altitude of 1650m and located just 30km from Albertville, the Col des Saisies, a mountain pass that links the Beaufortin Valley and the Val d’Arly, is a beautiful site in the Saisies-Mont-Blanc area.
An Olympic resort in 1992 and now a conservation area, the resort offers breath-taking panoramas of Mont-Blanc. Its proximity to Europe’s highest peak guarantees exceptional snowfall both in quality and quantity. The Hauteluce Valley is another of the Alps’ most stunning spots. The village resort of Les Saisies was built with respect to both architecture and nature. The Les Saisies ski area, birthplace of champion and multiple Olympic medallist Franck Piccard, offers ski lovers a range of slopes that weave through woods and pastures, reaching up to 2000m.
Les Saisies also offers 80km of cross-country ski slopes.
In recent years, the Espace Diamant ski area (185km and 154 slopes) has expanded, thanks to 2 chair lifts linking Les Saisies to Notre-Dame-de-Bellecombe and Praz-sur-Arly.
