Not far from the Spanish and Andorran borders, the resort in Bonascre is situated in the heart of 3 ski-areas: Bonascre, Saquet, and Camp. High-altitude skiing, gentle slopes that are ideal for cross-country skiing, snowshoeing, dog-sledding. After a day on the slopes, treat yourself to a dip at the thermal spa centre in Ax les Thermes. With 75 km of slopes, the resort also boasts 40 snow cannons, 16 ski lifts, cross-country ski slopes on the Beille plateau and within the Chioula ski-area, and a snow park. Snowshoeing is also available.

Try out some new activities such as dog sledding, ski-gliding - also known as speed riding, airboarding, snake gliss group sledging or even experience the yooner. On a clear day, see the starry sky as you've never seen it before, from the Pic du Midi observatory. Peyragudes: get acquainted with the ski lift
Whether on the Agudes slope or the Peyresourdes slope, the resort has an area for beginners, consisting one or two slopes that are very popular amongst novices. The Barbioules ski lift (Agudes slope) will be ideal to get used to this type of lift. Higher up, the chairlift and the wide blue slope of the Combe de la Flamme are recommended as you continue to progress. On the Peyresourde slope, the green piste of Grande Traverse served by the Cabanou chair lift is suitable for learning your first turns.
Saint Lary: a dedicated space
With its new beginner's area in the Pla d'Adet (the Kidpark), Saint Lary lives up to its Family + Mountain label. This area features a slope and a wide fenced area in which to practice your first turns in complete safety. Later, beginners can progress to the blue Mickey slopes served by a chair lift. By taking the shuttle that connects to Saint Lary 2400, they can take the blue Merlan pistes, with a basin form that is ideal to help you feel safe on a “real” piste.
Font Romeu: children's island
Font Romeu certainly lives up to its reputation as a family-friendly resort. The ski resort with particularly gentle slopes, south-facing beginners' areas and green slopes, the pistes that snake across the forest... everything beginners need is in place. With slow moving, non-detachable chair lifts, detachable chairlifts, fun areas with games to help learn through play and the famous Poule au Pot green piste, you can get started and progress at your own speed in this resort.
