Saint-Malo offers a wide range of activities, largely centred around water sports. From Cancale to Erquy, the Emerald Coast is one long stretch of beaches, rocky inlets, and renowned seaside resorts.

For hiking fans, the GR34, an old path known as the “Custom Officers’ Trail”, offers incredible panoramic views from Cotentin to Cap Fréhel.

Located at the entrance to Saint-Malo, the Saint-Malo aquarium is one of the town’s biggest attractions. Over 12,000 animals share their secrets through a series of fascinating anecdotes. Best of all: “The Ring of Sharks”: 600,000 litres of water and 8 sharks up to 3 metres in length; The Nautibus Submarine: dive down among no fewer than 5000 fish!

Treat yourself to a wellness break at the Saint-Malo thalassotherapy centre where half-day discovery packages are available for purchase.

How about a round of golf: no less than 3 golf courses are easily accessible: The Saint-Malo Hotel Golf & Country Club at Tronchet, the Domaine des Ormes golf course in Epiniac, or the Dinard course with its impressive views over the sea.

La Rance excursions: climb aboard a La Rance shuttle boat and head upstream towards Dinan. A wonderful way to explore the Vallée de la Rance and all of its flora and fauna.

As for the musically inclined, Saint-Malo hosts a yearly Route du Rock music festival (summer and winter). Other important cultural events include the Quai des Bulles, a festival of cartoon and animated film projections that takes place in the autumn, and the Etonnants Voyageurs literary festival in the spring.

CHILDREN Activities specially adapted for your little ones.

Balades :
