The Cévennes National Park has a long tradition of beekeeping, with almost 300 farms spread across its territory, including more than 250 that use a species of bee endemic to the Cévennes. Take the time to stop and sample this regional product of recognised quality, the name "Miel des Cévennes" having been registered with the European Commission. You won't regret leaving with a jar (or two) of this sweet nectar.
Walk the park's hiking trails
As a keen walker, you will be delighted to explore some of the 5,000 kilometres of hiking trails. Explore sumptuous landscapes and admire the changes in the flora as you climb to higher altitudes. Whatever your means of transport, be it on foot, on horseback or on a mountain bike, you will find something to satisfy your desire see the area.
